Jordyn White 

Jordyn White is Vice President of Strategic Outreach & Training at the Human Rights Campaign where she oversees the development and implementation of storytelling, narrative change, and educational resources for LGBTQ+ community members and allies. Her program portfolio focuses primarily on transgender justice, HIV prevention and PrEP access, LGBTQ+ inclusion on HBCU campuses, and enhancing knowledge and leadership capabilities within the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community.

 

Jordyn began her career at HRC as Deputy Director of Community and Volunteer Relations on the Development and Membership team, where she provided leadership support and guidance to HRC volunteers in steering committees across the country, helped increase their volunteer and membership base, and worked to create a stable and sustainable pipeline for emerging leaders. Prior to joining HRC, Jordyn spent over a decade in the research and social science realm as a methodologist at the U.S. Census Bureau and a study director at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She has significant experience on survey design and program evaluation and has written research reports and briefs on a range of issues including criminal justice, health, human trafficking, and LGBTQ+ well-being.

 

Jordyn is an active member of the community; she is co-founder and General Manager of the Washington Prodigy women's tackle football team, is on the boards of Go Play DC and Rainbow Families, and has served on D.C. Mayor Bowser's Advisory Committee for LGBTQ affairs since 2020. Jordyn received her B.S. in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, and her M.S. in criminal justice from St. Joseph’s University.
